Eirini, Violin and storytelling
My name is Eirini, I am 30 years old greek musician and storyteller.
I studied classical violin and music theory at the Athens Conservatoire and Philippos Nakas Conservatory. I also came across more music styles and instruments during my studies at the Music High School of Pallini. I completed the professional storytelling courses of ''Mezrab Storytelling School'' in Amsterdam and the ''Centre for the study and dissemination of myths and folktales, MYTHOS'' in Athens. Besides that, I attended the seminar "Education in the Museum" of the "Hellenic Children’s Museum" and worked at that museum as a pedagogue.
I have created musical performances and educational programs for children and presented them in performance venues, libraries, museums, kindergartens, and primary schools. Since 2016 I have been offering individual music classes and weekly workshops for children, that combine storytelling, music, and theatrical games. I have participated in various music and storytelling festivals in Greece, Cyprus, and Italy.
I have solid experience in babysitting as I worked for almost two years (2013-2015) on a daily basis providing after-school activities and creative play.
