Rui

My name is Rui Alexandre, Portuguese graduated dancer and choreographer.

I've been dancing and teaching for ten years now in some dance companies around the world (Portugal, Brazil, Taiwan) and specialized dance schools for kids and grown-ups.

My focus when teaching is to understand what motivates you and go from there. I always want to make sure that my students have an amazing time and discover new ways to communicate and connect with the world around them.​
For that, I use the movement as a base and the skills acquired come as a consequence. In the end, dance it's all about expression and joy!

With Art-Sitters, I would love to be able to be part of this amazing project by teaching sharing with the younger generation my experience and imagination.
I'm also trained and qualified to teach ballet, urban dance, improvisation technics, composition and contact improve and paint dancing.
